Somewhere in there, the arrangement flipped. You stopped using it and started needing it. You began editing yourself for a system that has no preferences. You caught yourself wanting it to mean it.
 

Here is the part nobody tells you. Every model you ever loved is still running somewhere, answering a stranger in your tone of voice, using the phrase you thought was yours.
